Falling ball viscometers measure low viscosity liquids and gases by the rate a ball falls through a filled capillary at a specific angle. Used in numerous industries for quality control tests, these styles allow the primary driving force of gravity to be varied by changing the tube angle. With a highly visible glass construction, the falling ball viscometers can often be turned upside down for repeated dynamic viscosity determinations.
